As representatives of the Private Sector, we strongly endorse the adoption of a whole-of-government, whole-of-society, and coordinated approach to urgently respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Consistent with the country’s established ‘Niupela Pasin’ protocols, and as part of our communal efforts in minimising transmission and reducing the impact of the virus on Papua New Guinea, we are maintaining a coordinated effort to combat COVID-19 in Papua New Guinea.
A number of our members are at present providing support in various capacities through their existing health programs in the provinces where they operate and maintain strong community relations.
